Partnerships
Our research outputs can be applied to a variety of real-world ethnicity and diversity problems.
Whether you're looking to collaborate on a research project, share facilities, or exchange knowledge and expertise, our researchers can help.
Recent collaborations with universities, councils and organisations include:
The Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relations Resource Centre
CoDE is in partnership with the Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relations Resource Centre, one of Europe’s leading specialist libraries on migration, race and ethnicity.
The resource centre has recently reopened in its new home at Manchester Central Library. As part of the £50 million refurbishment of Central Library, the Resource Centre has its own library, reading and teaching spaces, and its archival collections are central to the interactive digital exhibitions that are a major new feature of Central Library.
Their library has over 10,000 secondary and primary resources telling the story of race relations, ethnicity and immigration across the globe. Their collections feature a range of resources on areas such as Manchester history, education, civil rights, and include a number of journals and periodicals. They also acquired the Commission for Racial Equality library when the organisation closed, which contains extensive historical material concerning the changing issues around race relations in the UK.
