Our activity is primarily funded through the Economic and Social Research Council, with support from a number of other funders who contribute to the impact of our work.
Our programme of work is primarily funded by the ESRC's Large Grants Scheme (Grant ref: ES/K002198/1).
The Joseph Rowntree Foundation has made substantial contributions to the dissemination of findings through two grants enabling the production of Census Briefings and workshops.
The University of Manchester has supported us through additional funding streams including the Hallsworth Conference and Visiting Academics funds, their ESRC Impact Acceleration Account, The University of Manchester Research Institute and the Faculty of Humanities Studentship fund.
